Location and Amenities
Manor House is a mature, spacious, homely and comfortable residence, part of which dates from the 16th century.
Established as a care home 28 years ago, this is a medium sized facility located in the pretty village of Bilton - within easy reach of Rugby town centre. Local churches, park, shops, café, restaurant, and pubs are a few minutes walk away.
We provide residential dementia accommodation for up to 26 people as well as day care. Our well trained on-site dedicated staff team are here to provide care 24-hours a day.
Each bedroom has its own character and provides views over gardens and the front of the house. Most of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and we have both single and double rooms, residents are welcome to personalise their own space.
Activities and Social Life
Friends and relatives are welcomed and we encourage visitors to join in celebrations of special events e.g. birthdays, harvest festival, theme night’s, summer fete, Christmas parties, and lunches.
It is important our residents have a busy social life: we organise bus trips, outings for lunch, museum/theatre visits, church visits or to any other places of interest.
We accommodate, as far as possible, the preferred routine of residents to facilitate familiarity. We encourage our residents to be involved in decision making and value their input within the home if they wish changes to be made to improve their lives and choices.
Well balanced meals and snacks
We serve well balanced meals, all home cooking; special diets can be catered for. Our residents can choose to have their meals in our dining room, in the privacy of their own rooms or alfresco in the lovely surroundings of the garden, weather permitting.
We aim to reassure you that a move to Manor House can be a move towards a more fulfilling later life. Our priority is to consider every resident as an individual and provide a 'home from home' environment that gives peace of mind, security, support and stimulation.
